Statement on the Joe Rogan Experience Podcast

By Innocence Staff

The Joe Rogan Experience podcast on August 6, 2020 featured Jason Flom, the CEO of Lava Media and an Innocence Project Board Member, as well as Josh Dubin, an attorney, president of Dubin Research and Consulting, and an Innocence Project Ambassador Advisor. In the podcast, Mr. Dubin and Mr. Flom were identified as employees of the Innocence Project. However, we want to make clear that Mr. Dubin and Mr. Flom are not, and never have been, employees of the Innocence Project.

During the podcast, Mr. Dubin and Mr. Flom expressed opinions of their own about the upcoming presidential election. To avoid any confusion, we want to clarify that the Innocence Project does not support or oppose any candidate for office, including President of the United States.

  1. Jan Lee says:

Thank you for the much needed clarification. I think it is foolish to think that just ANYONE, regardless of who, would deserves someone’s vote just in order to defeat Trump. Especially when it means voting for someone that was part of creating abhorrent laws? I donated $5000 last year to the Innocence Project and would like to continue donating but not if they take these blindsided political stances.

  2. Linda Harris says:

Just donated after listening to the Joe Rogan podcast…will donate as often as I am able to…I live in Arizona. Are there any cases in this state that I can write letters for to AZ politicians to help wrongfully convicted people?
