Send Rodney Reed a note this holiday season

Rodney Reed has not had a chance to be with his family for the holidays in over 22 years. And this year, though Rodney was recently granted an indefinite stay of execution, will be no different.

He is still confined to a 60-square-foot cell, and will remain there as he awaits a new hearing during which new witnesses will testify on Rodney’s behalf and new, mounting evidence that points to his innocence will be presented.

Rodney will be spending another holiday season in prison, wrongfully incarcerated. And while there are no “good days” for a person on death row for a crime they didn’t commit, holidays can be especially difficult.

“My whole focus has been on getting out of this place and being back with my family,” Rodney said.

He and his family have fought for justice for decades. And, this holiday season, we want them to know that they are not alone.
