Innocence Project Announces Office Closure Due to Coronavirus

For several weeks, the Innocence Project has been closely following the Coronavirus (COVID-19) recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, New York State health officials and the City of New York. Our top priority has been to keep our staff, students and volunteers safe during this time. To that end, we have decided to close our office indefinitely and have our entire team work remotely, effective today, March 13, at 6 p.m.

We will continue the work of the Innocence Project and keep as many functions as possible in full operation during this time.

You can still reach the Innocence Project through our main phone line (212-364-5340) and email address (info@innocenceproject.org), although there might be slight delays in responding to you. Our clients may have difficulty reaching us, so we encourage them to have family members contact us using the above methods.

We will be assessing the situation as it unfolds and will keep you updated.

Thank you for your support during this challenging time for all our communities.
