By Innocence Staff
The Innocence Project is thrilled to participate as a bike tour charity partner again. Held annually the first Sunday in May, the TD Five Boro Bike Tour is America’s largest cycling event. The Tour is co-produced by Bike New York and the New York City Department of Transportation. The event provides participants the unique and fun experience to bike through all five boroughs – a 40 mile, car-free ride for 32,000 cyclists.
On Sunday, May 7, 2017, a team of fifteen people will bike for the Innocence Project, raising awareness about wrongful convictions and fundraising to help free the innocent.
Each member of the team commits to raising a minimum of $1,000 to support the Innocence Project and receives:
- Guaranteed entry into the TD Five Boro Bike Tour
- An Innocence Project team jersey
- Early start pass
- Breakfast at the start and team breakfast at our office
- Lunch at the finish
- Fundraising tips and support from IP staff
