The Pennsylvania Innocence Commission was formed in January 2007. The commission consists of about 30 members, including defense attorneys, prosecutors, judges, corrections officials, police and victims’ advocates. The group examines cases and makes recommendations for corrective measures; its reports and recommendations will reach the state Senate by late 2008.
