Watch Live Friday: Texas Forensics Hearing
Posted: January 20, 2011 6:05 pm
The Texas Forensic Science Commission meets tomorrow to continue its review of the forensic testimony that led to Cameron Todd Willingham’s conviction and execution. Willingham was executed in 2004 for setting a fire that killed his three daughters. He always claimed his innocence, and the arson investigation used to convict him was questioned by a leading expert before Willingham was executed. Since 2004, many additional arson experts have concluded that there was no evidence to prove that Willingham committed arson.
Watch the meeting live here beginning at 9:30 a.m. CST Friday.
