Mandy Jaramillo
Investigations Attorney
Mandy Jaramillo is the Investigations Attorney at the Innocence Project. She analyzes case materials and conducts investigations to help determine whether the Innocence Project can provide representation to individuals seeking to prove their innocence through postconviction DNA testing.
Prior to joining the Innocence Project in June 2012, Ms. Jaramillo worked as a Staff Attorney at the Center for Family Representation. At CFR, Ms. Jaramillo defended parents in family court proceedings and helped to safely reunite them with their children. Ms. Jaramillo also served as a Teach for America corps member and worked as a fifth grade classroom teacher in New York City.
Ms. Jaramillo graduated from the University of Chicago in 1999 and from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in 2010. While in law school, Ms. Jaramillo was a clinic student at the Innocence Project.
