Senior Case Analyst

Maggie Taylor joined the Innocence Project in February 2004 and became senior case analyst in August 2007.  As senior case analyst, Maggie corresponds with defendants and evaluates investigative, trial, appellate and laboratory documents to determine if postconviction DNA testing could prove a defendant’s innocence.  She also conducts research for special projects, trains new case analysts, and supervises volunteers.

Maggie holds a B.A. in anthropology and Africana studies from Grinnell College and an A.M. in the social sciences from the University of Chicago. She is a former recipient of the Thomas J. Watson fellowship and was a research assistant for the civil rights investigations project at the Legal Assistance Foundation of Metropolitan Chicago.
