Friday Roundup: The Fight to be Exonerated and Progress at Crime Labs

An Ohio man who spent five years on death row for murder before another man confessed to the crimes has renewed his effort to be fully exonerated.

Esquire magazine profiles Ohio exoneree Raymond Towler, who spent three decades behind bars for crimes he did not commit.

The group responsible for the accreditation of North Carolina’s State Bureau of Investigation’s crime lab is defending its review of the troubled crime lab.

A New York exoneree who spent 18 in prison for a murder he did not commit filed suit against NYC and the prosecutors from his case for $30 million.

A Utah crime lab developed a new DNA test that could help solve cold cases.
