Friday Roundup: Proving Innocence in South Carolina and Nebraska

A South Carolina man maintains his innocence in murder case while the state’s high court reviews possibility of false confession and prosecutorial misconduct.

This year the prison population in the U.S. declined for the first time in nearly four decades, according to The Bureau of Justice Statistics.

A Nebraska man, who has an appeal pending before a state appeals court for DNA testing in his rape conviction,  was denied a commutation hearing.

National Taiwan University officially established Taiwan Innocence Project.
