North Carolina’s Innocence Inquiry Commission is looking into several cases of possible wrongful conviction.
Richard Lapointe has served 20 years in prison for a murder he has always said he didn’t commit. Initial DNA suggests his innocence, and he’s seeking further tests that could set him free.
The Texas Governor approved a $1.4 million payment to Anthony Graves for the 18 years he spent in prison for a crime he did not commit.
The Florida Innocence Commission issued a report recommending eyewitness identification standards.
