Friday Roundup: Crime Labs Oversight and Eyewitness Identification Reform

A Connecticut crime lab lost its professional accreditation as it staggers under a 4,500-case backlog of untested DNA evidence.

Two Illinois state senators are reaching across the aisle and work together in promoting steps to reducing wrongful convictions.

In a speech, Exoneree Marty Tankleff urged students at Hofstra University to become involved with fighting wrongful convictions in their communities.

Attorneys urged the Oregon Supreme Court to change the legal standards for eyewitness identification.
