Barry Scheck Reflects on the Creation of the Innocence Project

In a video for THINKR, a new YouTube channel, Innocence Project Co-Director Barry Scheck recounts the story behind his founding of the Innocence Project with Peter Neufeld, and how DNA has transformed the criminal justice system. He tells the story of the 1988 wrongful conviction case that led to his realization of the potential significance of DNA testing to prove innocence and explains the causes of wrongful convictions and the perils of convicting the innocent.
