Angela Amel

Director of Operations

Angela Amel is the Director of Social Work at The Innocence Project.  She works primarily with clients after they have been exonerated.  She helps them access services and transition back to their lives after their wrongful incarceration.  

Before joining the staff at The Innocence Project, Angela worked as an independent consultant with not for profits in leadership, program development and supervision.  Before that she directed programs for homeless youth. Angela received her Masters in Social work from Boston University.
