Akiva Freidlin
Associate Director for Institutional Giving
Akiva Freidlin joined the Innocence Project as Associate Director for Institutional Giving in May 2011, after volunteering for the IP’s development department for nearly two years while still in graduate school.
Mr. Freidlin graduated from Hampshire College with a B.A. in American Studies and Writing in 2005 and then worked for six years as a concert tour manager and sound engineer. From 2008-2011, he attended Columbia University School of the Arts as a Jack Kent Cooke Scholar and will receive an MFA in Nonfiction Writing from Columbia in summer 2011.
