Richard Salatiello
Director of Institutional Giving
Richard Salatiello has extensive experience in nonprofit management and fundraising. Prior to joining the Innocence Project in 2008, he organized professional development programs for two philanthropy-related associations in Washington, DC. At CASE (Council for Advancement and Support of Education), Richard managed conferences and online seminars for practitioners of fundraising, alumni relations and communications at educational institutions throughout North America and abroad. Previously, at the Council on Foundations, he coordinated speakers, content and logistics for conferences of grant-making organizations.
In addition, Richard was a junior account executive at the Vantage Consulting Group, a New York City firm that provided comprehensive fundraising services to the nonprofit sector. He began his career in a research internship at the Democratic National Committee, where he later administered the finance data system. Richard earned both his MBA and his BA from Rutgers University.
